Become an Engineering Leader Without Giving Up Being an Engineer
Engineers are given two options. Either go into the management track, away from all the technological fun, or continue as an individual contributor, which probably stifles your growth. But there's a third path, the one that I call being a "Value Artisan." It's when you combine People, Value, and Technology into one, and become an engineering leader who still remains an engineer.
